3. Traveler's Cup in a Woven Holder. Tibet, 19th Century. 5 1/2" (14 cm.) in diameter, 3 1/2" (9 cm.) tall. A traditional wooden cup, the inside completely lined with silver and with a decorative silver rim around the base. The holder is woven with rope over bamboo and was once tied closed with two leather straps; only one strap remains. $350.
