37. Small Rice Measure with 4 Seals. Nepal, 17th century. 4 3/4" (12 cm.)diameter, 2 1/4" tall. Copper, with nice patina and 4 kings' seals. Used for measuring grains in the marketplace, these measures are stamped with the king's seal when they are made, then they are re-certified every hundred years. There was a small loop handle that is now missing. $165.
