8. Yogini Gau with Rubies and Emeralds. Sterling silver plated with gold, set with rubies, emeralds, coral and turquoise. A dancing yogini, carved from coral and wearing emerald earrings, holds a skull cup and kartika and a long staff. She is surrounded by filigree swirls. The gau opens to show a serene turquoise 4 armed Chenresig holding a jewel between two hands, the others hold a rope and a lotus flower. He is seated on a coral lotus throne. 2 3/4" (7 cm.) wide, 3 1/2" (9 cm.) high. $850.
