8. Yogini Gau with Rubies and Emeralds. Sterling silver plated with gold, set with rubies, emeralds, sapphire, lapis lazuli, coral and turquoise. A dancing yogini, carved from coral and wearing sapphire earrings, holds a skull cup and kartika and a long staff. She is surrounded by jewels and filigree swirls. The gau opens to show a serene turquoise 4 armed Chenresig holding a coral between two hands, the others hold a rope and a lotus flower. He is seated on a lapis lotus throne. 3" (7.6 cm.) wide, 3" high. $750.
