1. Deer Incense Burner. Copper and brass, 6 1/2" long, 5" tall, 3" wide. The eight auspicious symbols on the sides and a pierced copper top which the smoke drifts lazily through. The top is also decorated with brass figures of birds and deer like a Tibetan temple roof. $45.
2. Prayer Wheel and Candle Incense Burner. A pierced burner made of copper decorated with brass sacred symbols and two deer. A small prayer wheel sits on one end and a votive candle can be placed on the other. The incense is in a drawer underneath and the smoke drifts through the lacy pierced top. 11" (28 cm.) long by 5 1/2" (14 cm.) tall by 2" wide. Beautiful. $58.
3. Prayer Wheel Candle Holder and Incense Burner. This is the most elaborate prayer wheel candle holder/incense burner I have yet seen. It has all sorts of great features, the lotus petals, the medallions of Tara, the Buddha and the sacred symbols, the mantras, "OM MANI PADME HUM", and of course the centerpiece, the prayer wheel. It is inlaid with faux turquoise stones. It is also an incense burner and, with the stupa top remeoved, a candle holder. 13 1/2" (34 cm.) tall & 7" (18 cm.) in diameter at the base. The prayer wheel turns very easily and spins for a long time. $145.
4. Deer Incense Burner. 12" long, diameter 2 1/2". Copper, brass and nickel silver. Decorated on the sides with brass medallions of the eight sacred symbols, on the ends with a row of repousee dorjes, and on the top with two deer, symbolizing the turning of the wheel of dharma in the deer park at Sarnath. One of the ends opens to a drawer and the incense can either be inserted in the holes provided or laid flat on a bed of sand (or, better yet, the incense ash of all the incense that has been burned before -- that's the way the Tibetans do it). The smoke filters through a decorative floral panel on the top. SOLD.
5. Buddha Altar Burner. 6" in diameter, 4" high. Copper, nickel, brass. Ingenioiusly serves as both an altar and an incense burner at the same time. Decorated with medallions of the sacred symbols and four Buddha figures facing in towards the center, the base is a lotus blossom held up by 3 deer and with the mantra "Om mane padme hum above. The ash is collected in a bowl and can be used for blessings; fill the center with sand and it will hold any size incense stick. $35.
6. Prayer Wheel Burner and Candle Holder. Copper and brass, 11" tall, 8" wide. This is a fabulous incense holder that can also be used as a candle holder. Decorated with Buddhas and other deities, sacred symbols and a prayer wheel in the center that stands between two pillars. The stupa in the center lifts off and a candle can be inserted. SOLD.
7. Incense Burner and Candle Lamp. 13 1/2" high, 4" in diameter. Copper fretwork with brass medallions. The candle behind the fretwork throws off starlike patterns and the smoke from the incense glows. Uses a regular votive candle. SOLD OUT.
8. Temple Incense Burner. A pierced burner made of copper in a traditional Tibetan Gompa rooftop style, with deer on the top and four birds on the corners. The incense smoke drifts through the flower patterned holes in the burner's top. Inside, the incense can either be inserted into the holes provided but the Tibetan way (and the easiest) is to lie it on a bed of incense (or wood) ash. 8" (20 cm.)long by 5 1/2" (14 cm.) tall by 3 1/2" wide. SOLD.
9. Large Yogini Incense/Thanka Holder. 14" (35 cm.) high, 2 1/4" (5.7 cm.) in diameter. Tibetan nomads are often pilgrims and need to carry incense as offerings to the temples and holy places they visit -- or a thanka for a travelling altar. Copper with four gilt figures of dancing yoginis. $95.
10. Buddha Altar Incense and Candle Burner. 12" tall. Copper with brass and nickel. A lacy cylindar with brass wind horse medallions opens to a small Buddha figure and a space for either incense or a candle. The smoke wafts through the lacy fretwork -- or the candle light shines through throwing patterns on the wall and lighting up the Buddha on the top. If you fill the space for the candle with sand it will firmly hold almost any size candle. $65.
