3. Newari Book and Covers. 9 1/2" long, 4 1/2" high. Written in the old Newari script of the Kathmandu valley on thick mulberry paper. In 6 sections, each headed with a finely painted deity. The top cover is carved with three medallions surrounded by a band of elephants and tridents.
